What an outstanding concert you organized last night!

With its abundance of styles, it was a musical banquet.

 

The piece “the Door of No Return” in Ghana resonated with me.

It brought back the memory of a trip to Senegal where we visited The Door of No Return on Goree Island. The trip was led by my dear friend the late Councilman John J. Kennedy.

 

As representatives of Pasadena Senegal Subcommittee, Dr. Dauphin and I had a memorable evening. Thank you.
